Canadian singer/songwriter Tenille Townes was upgraded to open the main stage at C2C Festival when Runaway June could no longer appear and we are so grateful she was.
Joined by a full band, Townes was a total rock star! Her insanely good vocals filled the arena like a true powerhouse. She had such infectious energy and incredible stage presence that you would think she was playing her own headline show.
A natural on the stage, Townes has just proved her superstardom worthy title by giving what was quite possibly the performance of her career.
The audience were in awe and friends of Townes, Alex Hall and Caitlyn Smith were amongst the fans looking very proud of their friend.
Tenille is sensational. Her songs are sweet and powerful and she has no doubt gained a massive new fanbase after her set. Jersey on the Wall had us in tears, Somebody’s Daughter had us all singing and the whole set had us all rockin’ out.
We look forward to Tenilles headline shows in October but I don’t think it will be long before she is selling out arenas on her own.
