What We Do

At Building Our Own Nashville we help to promote artists music, videos, shows and news. We review artists concerts as well as festivals and Showcases and we also interview the artists. We have a large following from UK Country fans as well as readers from all over the world, in particular USA, France and Germany.

Experience and Coverage

Over the last few years I have written for various other review sites as well as creating my own site. I still remain a regular contributor for two other companies as I feel the more coverage Country Music gets in the UK, the better. I am also a current CMA member which I am very proud of. With the Country Music scene growing rapidly in the UK, I enjoy being a part of the process that helps get the Genre noticed and promoted.

About me:

My name is Hannah Compton and I am a fan of Country Music and live in the UK. My love for Country Music began in 2007 when I had the CMA Awards on the TV in the background and was instantly taken in by Taylor Swift singing ‘Our Song’ and Carrie Underwood singing ‘Just A Dream’. After that night I discovered many other Country Artists and fell in love with the genre and Nashville. One of my favourtie artists is Miranda Lambert as well as Carrie, Taylor, Little Big Town, Zac Brown Band, Gloriana and the list just goes on and on.

I have been lucky enough to go to Nashville twice, both during CMA Festival, once in 2010 and then 2014, I hope to return again one day.

I try to go to as many gigs as I can and hope to review them as well as reviewing Country Albums. My words are my own and I like to write from a fans perspective and when I write about a show, I try to write it in such a way that you feel like you were there.
