Country 2 Country Festival (C2C)

C2C Festival: All the ‘Click and Collect’ Food Options for Those of Us Who Never Have Time To Dine!

Last time we were preparing to go to Country 2 Country Festival back in 2019 (it’s been so long….) we put together an article to let everyone know all the food places within the O2 Arena that offered a Click and Collect option.

We found this very helpful as did many others because as you probably know, the festival gets so busy and people don’t always have time to dine, let alone queue to dine. Also, most of us want to catch as many shows as possible so we want something quick. It’s a bonus if it fills us up for the rest of the day and evening!

We have put together a list of yummy places that do provide a click and collect service to save you having to sit in and dine for an hour or so (of course many will and that is perfectly understandable) and to save you from those very long queues.

There are some places that say they are temporarily closed at the moment so we haven’t added those to the list but will if anything changes.

I haven’t noted any places with Gluten Free options because it wasn’t obvious on the website but please do check them in case I have missed it!

We are undecided ourselves on where to eat but we will be scanning these menus for the next week to help us with our decision!

So we are going to start with

Pizza Express

The perfect place for Pizza lovers. There is so much variety here for Meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans. You can dine in or takeaway. You can book online for both dining and click and collect orders or via the app or you can just walk in but of course at C2C Festival, you may be queuing a while and the purpose of this article is to click and collect.

Download the app here

The app also has a loyalty scheme where you can earn stamps per visit (Dine in or Click and Collect) and you can range from Bronze to Gold member depending on your visits/stamps.

Example rewards that can be earned include a free side dish every time you dine in and a free dessert on your birthday for Bronze members, a free Classic pizza on your birthday and free soft drinks, tea or coffee for Silver members, and a free kids Piccolo meal every time you dine between a Monday and Thursday for Gold members…and did we say free Dough Balls for an entire year?

As above you can get free doughballs via the app, However that offer is a Dine In Only offer so won’t be available for any takeaway orders.

Back to food!

One of the Vegan options that caught our eyes and that was the

SLOPPY VEGAN ROMANA

Quorn™ pieces with green pepper, red onion, tomato, smoky chilli, garlic oil, fennel seeds, vegan mozzarella alternative and parsley on a Romana base.

A Veggie option which I know is good is the CALZONE VERDURE

Roasted peppers and aubergine with spinach, smoky tomato harissa, hot chilli, tomato with garlic and topped with rosemary. Served with salad and balsamic dressing.

There are also lots of pasta and salad options too and we can’t leave out the all important Dough Balls!!! My six year old goes crazy for these!

The kids menu is very good with various options and with dough balls to start which arrive with cucumber and baby tomatoes.

Thunderbird Fried Chicken (with Vegetarian and Vegan options)

As the weekend is all about Country Music we do love to treat ourselves to a bit of American styled food and Thunderbird looks like it will really hit the spot! It is Southern Fried after all!

Just looking at the menu is making us hungry! The menu looks amazing! It ranges from Chicken burgers to wraps, to salads, wings, strips, buckets, fries, tator tots, churros and more. The kids menu also looks pretty reasonable too at just £4.95 for a meal.

Please check out the full menu here

We are tempted with the Salted Caramel Wings…what? Sounds weird but I bet it’s delicious!

Sweet, salty, umami sauce with a hint of orange, sprinkled with toasted sesame and a little chipotle powder

Also we want to try out the CHIPUFFALO FRIES OR TOTS £4.95

Chipotle-Buffalo sauce, blue cheese stripes, coriander and a little extra chipotle

Next up is German Doner Kebab

German Doner Kebab offer a range of very different styled kebabs that you are unlikely to find at your local kebab van.

As well as Kebabs you can order Quesadillas, burgers, Doner boxes, fries, nachos, cheese bites and more. The doner boxes look very interesting and very practical for eating and walking at the same time around the O2.

Gourmet Burger Kitchen

Otherwise known as GBK. GBK offers, as you would guess, burgers. GBK offer a Vegan option too!

Now I am pretty much always tempted by a Blue Cheese burger and theirs looks pretty dang good!

Onion jam, Cajun relish, house mayo, salad.

Choose from: Gorgonzola Slice or Blue Cheese Sauce.

As well as Beef Burgers they do Chicken Burgers and Vegan Burgers.

We are intrigued by the Boozy Shakes which sound pretty good.

FLAKED CHOCOLATE & BOURBON 6.25
Madagascan vanilla shake with: flaked chocolate and Bulleit Bourbon

BOOZY SHAKE: OREO® CRUMB & RUM
Madagascan vanilla shake with: OREO® crum & rum

You will need to download the app to do click and collect which can be downloaded here

Nando’s

Now who doesn’t love a Nando’s? ( Vegetarian and Vegan options available before anyone says anything ha!)

Nando’s rarely disappoints but due to its popularity it will undoubtedly be busy all weekend with long queues so why not click and collect?

You probably already know your favourite, you probably have your sauce picked out but we personally haven’t been enough to know what we like best.

We are tempted with a 10 Wing Roulette

Can’t decide on your spice? Tuck in to 10 wings with various heat levels (it’s not for the faint-hearted!).

And the Portobello Mushroom & Halloumi Pitta looks delicious!

Portobello mushroom and grilled halloumi with chilli jam, wild garlic aioli, and lettuce. The mushroom and halloumi you know and love, with an epic upgrade.

There are so many options from burgers, wraps, wings to a full chicken (do you really want to walk around the O2 eating a whole chicken though? Hang on, this is country music and we do…right Brad?)

A full menu can be viewed here

And Click and Collect can be found here

Las Iguanas (Vegetarian and Vegan options available)

Burrito Bowls

Yummy Latin American styled food! (Brazilian, Mexican, Argentinian, Cuban and beyond)

There are a LOT of options here! Now we do like a Fajita and there are many options for those and the GAUCHO STEAK looks so good too!

8oz sirloin steak sprinkled with ancho chilli salt, served with fresh herb chimichurri, Argentine-style roasted sweetcorn purée & a choice of fries or salad.

As does the BEAN & BEETROOT BURGER

Black bean & beetroot burger with melted Emmental, beef tomato, lettuce & tomato-gherkin mayo in a toasted brioche bun. Served with fries or salad.

Five Guys

Now if you are a burger fan and haven’t been to Five Guys then you are missing a treat. Five Guys is more than just a fast food outlet as has so many toppings and sauces and they are all delicious! We tend to just add pretty much everything to our burger and it always tastes amazing! Also the amount of chips you get is crazy so I would only recommend getting one portion between two or three of you.

Not a burger fan? They also do sandwiches such as;

BLT

Crispy, smoked bacon, fresh-cut tomato and crunchy lettuce on a toasted bun.

GRILLED CHEESE

American cheese melted on an inside-out bun, grilled until golden brown.

VEGGIE SANDWICH

Our pattyless Veggie Sandwich. Enjoy how we recommend or customise with your own toppings.

VEGGIE SANDWICH WITH CHEESE

Our classic Veggie Sandwich with melted American Cheese. Enjoy how we recommend or customise with your own toppings.

Five Guys gets very very busy so I would highly recommend a click and collect order.

Check out the menu here

Click and collect here

So that is pretty much it! There are more but as stated above some are temporarily closed.

Also there is a Tesco Express if wanted any quick snacks or sandwiches.

Do check the individual websites for Gluten Free Options!

Most importantly, have a fab C2C.
