The track is the first release since Harleymoon’s breakthrough year after winning the New Artist Horizon Award at the BCMA’s.
She had been on a whirlwind of high-profile performances including Isle of Wight Festival, British Country Music Awards and firing-up crowds in cities from London to Manchester while supporting Megan McKenna on tour – all the while grabbing headlines in the likes of Daily Mail, Sunday Mirror and Maverick Magazine for her performance and costume.
“This is my rebound song. It’s the relationship you end up in after you’ve been really hurt; Someone safe, who your family would love… but the biggest pieces of your heart are always going to remain with the person that broke it.”
Award-winning country music singer-songwriter Harleymoon Kemp returns with a contrasting tale of rebounding and languishing emotions. Her new single “He Ain’t You” is set for release on digital services worldwide on 28th January.
The new single represents a shift in style for the rising star, from the insouciant summer vibes of 2021 single “Love On The Radio” to a darker yet more playful tone. The first of 2 new singles, “He Ain’t You” comes ahead of the much-anticipated fan-favourite “Drive Thru”, due later in spring.
Fans can pre-save “He Ain’t You” to their music libraries HERE.
