Harleymoon Kemp returns with Anti-valentines bluesy new anthem “He Ain’t You”

The track is the first release since Harleymoon’s breakthrough year after winning the New Artist Horizon Award at the BCMA’s.

She had been on a whirlwind of high-profile performances including Isle of Wight Festival, British Country Music Awards and firing-up crowds in cities from London to Manchester while supporting Megan McKenna on tour – all the while grabbing headlines in the likes of Daily Mail, Sunday Mirror and Maverick Magazine for her performance and costume.

This is my rebound song. It’s the relationship you end up in after you’ve been really hurt; Someone safe, who your family would love… but the biggest pieces of your heart are always going to remain with the person that broke it.”

Award-winning country music singer-songwriter Harleymoon Kemp returns with a contrasting tale of rebounding and languishing emotions. Her new single “He Ain’t You” is set for release on digital services worldwide on 28th January.

The new single represents a shift in style for the rising star, from the insouciant summer vibes of 2021 single “Love On The Radio” to a darker yet more playful tone. The first of 2 new singles, “He Ain’t You” comes ahead of the much-anticipated fan-favourite “Drive Thru”, due later in spring.

Honing her craft between London and Nashville, Harleymoon’s sound is influenced by a diverse pool of acoustic and country styles, including Leann Rimes, John Mayer and Maren Morris.

Her 2020 debut “Space” rocketed to #1 on the UK Country Music digital sales chart and featured on Absolute Country, Chris Country and BBC Radio. Subsequent singles received support on global streaming playlists (including Tidal, Apple Music’s New Music Daily & Spotify’s Very Nearly Nashville). Harleymoon made her TV debut performance on ITV’s Sunday Best! in addition to featuring on PBS and CMT in the US.

Harleymoon is working with a who’s-who of hit songwriters including Ruthanne Cunningham (Niall Horan, Britney Spears) and Jack McManus (The Shires, Twinnie) ahead of her next series of releases and features in Maverick Magazine as ‘One To Watch’.  She made her live festival debut at the Isle of Wight Festival in September. Her performance received acclaim in national press including Daily Mail, The Mirror and Sky Arts. In November 2021 Harleymoon toured with Megan McKenna and won the prestigious Horizon Award at the BCMAs in London.
