Introducing

Harleymoon Kemp – Space – Debut Single Review

Harleymoon Kemp today releases her debut single Space.

Produced by Fred Abbott of Noah and The Whale and Co-written with Emelie Eriksson and Robin Carlsso, Harleymoon fits very nicely within the UK country music scene and will undoubtedly make a big impact within the fanbase and the industry.

Space is immediately infectious and I found that just after the first listen I was hooked and singing the chorus out loud as I was going about my day. Memorable in the best kind of way, this song won’t be leaving my playlist any time soon.

With all the stresses in the world at the moment, the songs melody is wonderfully soothing and uplifting and has an element of 90’s pop blended perfectly with current modern country (think 90’s/00’s Rom-Com soundtracks).

Harleymoon’s voice is somewhat hypnotic and equally homely – She has a natural tone which is inviting and I would be very interested to hear more music from her whether that be ballads or more uptempo tracks.

Women in country music are really killing it at the moment and if this song is anything to go by then Harleymoon will join a fast growing list of strong female singers in the UK and we couldn’t be happier about that. When this pandemic is all over, I hope to see her on many festival line ups such as C2C, Cornbury, The Long Road and more.

Of the song Harleymoon says “I wanted a romantic song as the first release before we get into the heartbreak stuff.. the pain is coming next! ‘Space’ was a song that felt like candlelight, being in a sacred space, in a love that was otherworldly. It was produced by Fred Abbott of Noah and The Whale.”
