Following the release of her critically acclaimed album Golden Hour, the multiple Grammy Award-winning Kacey Musgraves has now released her music video for High Horse directed by Hannah Lux Davis (Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Little Mix).

In the video, Kacey escapes from her 9-to-5, 1970’s inspired workplace, daydreaming about telling off her self-satisfied co-workers. She then blows off steam at the best karaoke night of all time, adorning a rainbow, sequin playsuit. In the end, Kacey’s kaleidoscopic disco-country fantasy culminates as she rides away on a Studio 54 inspired White Horse.

Kacey has the ability to create self-contained universes in her songs, as anyone who has heard her critically acclaimed, psychedelic fourth album, Golden Hour, can confirm. With the Bee Gee’s inspired High Horse, she does just that.

Kacey continues to break boundaries as one of the most successful country artists in the world. She is currently on tour with Harry Styles, before returning to the UK for a nation-wide arena tour this autumn, including a date at London’s Wembley Arena.

This year, Kacey scored her highest ever chart position when her current album Golden Hour debuted at number 6 on the Official UK Album Chart. Her previous albums Same Trailer Different Park and Pageant Material debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart, with Kacey becoming the first solo female in five years to top the chart with a rookie release. Kacey has won 2 Grammy Awards for ‘Best Country Album’ and ‘Best Country Song’ (Merry Go Round), 2 CMA Awards for ‘New Artist of the Year’ and ‘Song of the Year’ (Follow Your Arrow), and an ACM Award for ‘Album of the Year’.

The Grand Ole Opry meets Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, Kacey is a true force to be reckoned with. Her frank, ambitious and dreamy music is garnering her adoring fans the world over and she has been country music’s most outspoken LGBTQ-friendly voices since 2013, when the singer released Follow Your Arrow.
