Kenny Thomas gave an outstanding & energetic performance that was contagious – HIM Tour – Bristol St Georges – Live Review

On a very rainy evening in Bristol at St Georges after a glorious week of sunshine, you couldn’t help but think ‘Let It Rain’ walking to the venue and getting soaked.

An almost sold out show, the venue was packed with hardcore fans of Kenny Thomas who were all glammed up for what was set to be a night to remember on his HIM tour.

The band took to the stage and began to play the introduction music and as Kenny Thomas arrived, the crowd were roaring!

Thomas’ voice is still as strong as ever and his performance skills are very entertaining. Kenny and the band were full of hight spirits and energy which was contagious and spilled out into the audience getting almost every single person up and dancing.

The band needs a mention for their exceptional musicanship! What was even more captivating of the band was just how obvious it was that they truly loved the music that they were playing! Soul, Dance, Jazz, you name it, the band and Thomas had you covered! The funky bass got everyone grooving and Kenny’s soulful vocals got everyone singing along.

Fan favourites and newer tracks were all a hit with the audience, there wasn’t a moment that wasn’t fun and engaging! Audience sing alongs came from songs such as Contagious, Thinking About Your Love and Outstanding.

Nostalgic for many, this was clearly the first time some in the audience, myself included had ever seem Kenny Thomas live and we could all understand why others had seen him multiple times.

Kenny Thomas and his band put on an incredible show that was full of energy. The good times were contagious and overall the evening was absolutely outstanding. You would be hard pressed to find people who didn’t leave in the greatest of moods. That’s what his music and shows do, they bring happiness and joy to all. We will be Thinking about his music, tonight, today and always.
