Breland is quite easily one of the most exciting new artists to emerge within the entire music industry recently. A talent that can cross over various genres and not just country, Breland’s artistry should appeal to a wide range of fans. His rather fitting title for his solo album Cross Country plays host to potential hit after hit and absolutely no fillers. It’s clear that his presence within country music is very much respected and admired by the high calibre of artists that he collaborates with. Featured artists on his album include Keith Urban, Ingrid Andress, Alana Springsteen, Lady A, Thomas Rhett and Mickey Guyton.
Breland will play an integral part to this years C2C Festival. Sharing the hosting spot with Bob Harris, Breland will also be on the main stage opening the Friday night. With Thomas Rhett being Fridays headliner and also being a collaborator on Breland’s single Praise The Lord, can we expect Rhett to make an appearance during Breland’s set? I hope so!
As if that wasn’t enough, festival goers are also being treated with Breland playing the Saturday after party. This is titled as Breland and Friends and fans who have been to previous Breland and Friends shows will know he brings other artists on stage to perform with him. This will be a very exciting party and we can’t wait to see who he will bring on stage. What we do know, is that Breland likes to showcase UK artists when he is in the UK. Previously he has brought on the likes of Ben Earle, Laura Oakes and Una Healy so I think we can expect some UK acts at the after party. We would love to see Ward Thomas, Megan McKenna and Kezia Gill join him. He is sure to bring on some fellow US artists too.
As we have said above, he will be hosting the weekend which means he will introduce acts on the main stage and more. As well as this he is going to play The Saloon Stage on one of the days and possibly be at other places across the weekend.
Breland is an exceptional entertainer so we highly recommend catching one of his sets and being able to say in the not too distant future that you saw him in a small setting (with the exception on the main arena). You can expect a highly energised show, especially at the after party with songs such as Throw it Back, Praise The Lord, My Truck but also some more intimate moments with his stunning ballads such as Cross Country, Don’t Look At Me, Alone at the Ranch and more.
