We fans had been waiting two years to see Cassadee at The Long Road Festival after all the restrictions due to covid had postponed the event. You could tell on stage that she was just as eager to play for us all as we were to see her and it made the whole set so much more special.

Cassadee was understandably met with a huge audience. So many in the crowd have been fans from either her Hey Monday days or her debut solo album Frame by Frame days and they all sang along to every word.

Playing songs old and new, her entire set was sensational. Pope’s vocals are stunning and unique with such a beautiful tone that we could listen to her all day. Her sweet personality is so inviting and her stage presence is enthralling.

Highlights for us were Wasting All These Tears, I Wish I Could Break Your Heart, Take You Home, songs from album Thrive and of course the magical moment when she brought out Sam Palladio to duet with her on Think of You which she originally sang with Chris Young. Cassadee was due to join Chris Young on stage for the song during his headline set but due to crew members having covid he sadly had to cancel. Knowing this, Cassadee and Sam arranged to treat the fans with their beautiful version and they did not disappoint. Everyone was hoping it would happen and of course, they were never not going to do it.

Closing with a Hey Monday song and ending on a rockier high, Cassadee proved why she is so loved over here with her flawless performance throughout.

We cannot wait for Cassadee to come back to the UK. We never tire of her. She always have a home here.
