Country 2 Country Festival (C2C)

Callista Clark to play C2C Festival and Why You Should Be As Excited As Us – If I Seem too Enthusiastic, It’s Cause I Am!

C2C Festival in the UK has always been one of the greatest places to not just see your country music favourites but to also discover new artists or in fact see artists you’re not quite sold on yet. More often than not, a live performance is that deciding factor and it’s usually the overwhelming support from fans at C2C that enable these artists to return to the UK quickly with their own tour.

We have been so lucky to discover some of our favourite artists at C2C such as Striking Matches (who went on to form a beautiful bond with the UK country community,) Delta Rae, Old Dominion and many more. Two of whom have been back on numerous occasions to sold out audiences.

Callista Clark is set to be one of those artists that if you aren’t yet familiar with, you will undoubtedly walk away as a fan after seeing her live!!!

A young woman with a phenomenally power house vocal, Callista will blow the roof off of the O2 Arena and we simply cannot wait for it! Having attended her online showcase during the pandemic earlier this year, we can honestly say that her recorded music as amazing as she sounds just does not do her enough justice as she is born for the stage. Pop County at its finest with some Jazzy vibes, Callista’s music will deliver a fun atmosphere throughout the O2 Arena.

Callista released her EP Real to Me earlier this year via Big Machine Label Group and is bound to create a sensational full album in the not too distant future. A song that stuck to our memory after her live performance was “It’s ‘Cause I Am”. Callista’s vocals are insane on this track and showcases not just her vocal talent but her maturity. She is only 17 but is wise beyond her years musically and has many fans both within the music fans and artists such as Jennifer Nettles and Carly Pearce.

C2C Alumni and favourite Songwriter Laura Veltz co-wrote two tracks with Callista off her Real to Me EP (It’s ‘Cause I am and Real to Me) and Callista has also written with another C2C alumni favourite Liz Rose as well as Chris DeStefano who came over for Country Music Week.

For those that enjoy doing their research before C2C (listening to artists prior to the event) we do highly recommend checking out Callista and strongly urge you to check out some live performances via YouTube because in our opinion her strengths lie within those exceptional live settings.

Callista will grace the main stage in London as part of the Spotlight Stage and much like Maren Morris, we expect her to make the giant leap from Spotlight to Main stage by next year’s festival. The Spotlight stage performances take place between the main stage acts so please don’t leave your seat and grab food or drink during her set . Stick around and see/hear what all the fuss is about because we think she will be worth it!

If I sound too enthusiastic, it’s ’cause I am!
