The support that festivals keep showing for country and Americana music recently is astonishing. Last year at British Summer Time Festival we saw a flawless line up from Ward Thomas, Jade Bird, Catherine McGrath, Junaita Stein, Southern rockers Tyler Bryant and the Shakedown, The Wandering Hearts all supporting the late great Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers. This is year is far from disappointing.

Michael Bublé who headlines Hyde Park on 13th July brings support from UK country music duo The Shires who are to release their third studio album Accidentally on Purpose this Friday. The Shires will be joined by the wonderful Catherine McGrath who gave a very successful performance last year at Hyde Park, The Adelaides, Megan McKenna, Singer/songwriter Rob Green, and alternative folk duo Gypsyfingers as well as more artists of other genres such as The Tailormade, Van Morrison, Bananarama and The Feeling.

Paul Simon plays BST Hyde Park on the 15th July where he will be joined by the fantastic sister duo Ward Thomas who blew audiences away last year. We also get to see Shawn Colvin, Callaghan, the stunning Sarah Darling from Nashville who has become a UK favourite and other genres from Jesca Hoop, Blueprint Blue & more to be announced.

We had such a blast last year and highly recommend the event.
