The Reklaws Release New Anthem: “Long Live The Night”

Canadian brother and sister duo Jenna and Stuart who make up The Reklaws released their single Long Live The Night on Friday February 16th.

Long Live The Night is a very anthemic country pop song with great vocals from both Jenna and Stuart. It’s hard not to sing a long with the chorus as it is incredibly catchy and is one of those songs that would have a really great moment in a live setting. Although this is the first time that I have heard of The Reklaws, this song could easily have been recorded by some of country music’s biggest mames such as Lady Antebellum so hopefully The Reklaws will gain a lot of recognition in Country Music globally.

Long Live The Night can be bought individually or as part of a three track single for £2.49

Last Call which is part of the three track single is definitely more pop focused with a bit of a dance feel to it. The vocals are mainly provided by Jenna with Stuart harmonising and certainly shows off Jenna’s vocal ability more.

Wish You Were Beer is the most country sounding song off the three part single. Stuart takes the lead on this drinking song which also features James Barker Band. The song has a very chanting chorus to it and is a typical merry drinking sing a long song but that isn’t a bad thing. This track will appeal to fans of artists such as Brad Praisley, Dierks Bentley and similar artists.

The Reklaws previous single Hometown Kids has reached over 1.3M Spotify streams and the duo have nearly 97K Spotify monthly listeners. The Reklaws have reached #11 on Spotify Canada Viral 50 list, and performed alongside artists like Kip Moore and Brothers Osborne and opened for Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw, Thomas Rhett.
