The week after C2C is always just as exciting as the festival itself, once the festival line up is announced, fans then eagerly await which of those artists will go on to do their own headline show after the weekend. Previous years has seen huge artists such as Sam Hunt and Maren Morris headline The Borderline to a capacity of 300, something we will never get again and also in previous years we had the likes of Cam and Ashley Monroe headline Bush Hall to a small crowd – Miranda Lambert even made an appearance at Ashley’s show which was incredible.
This year, the high calibre of artists staying on for another week post C2C is astonishing and what great events there will be.
This year brings us the first of C2C’s Roadshow – with this new event we don’t just get spoiled with one artist but two at minimum. On this particular event as titled above, it varies per date but Kristian Bush and Levi Hummon will be appearing at all dates.
Kristian Bush also known as one half os supergroup Sugarland has been a friend to C2C from day one. Kristian, in fact opened up the very first C2C back in 2013 as the first main stage act in the Saturday when C2C was simply just a two day event. Kristian has since had a successful solo career and has appeared at various Songwriters showcases including CMA Songwriters at C2C in 2017 and one prior to 2013’s C2C. Kristian has recently reunited with Jennifer Nettles to reform Sugarland and we are fortunate to have them play the main stage at C2C Festival on the Saturday.
Kristian isn’t just a friend to C2C but is a much loved artist to UK fans, we feel very connected to him and his music. We are delighted to see Kristian solo as well as part of Sugarland so this event will be an absolute treat. Kristian is also a very entertaining person on stage in personality and we look forward to his stories.
Levi Hummon played a string of shows in the UK last October as part of Country Music Week and left with a huge fan base. As Levi left quite an impact on the UK we are not surprised that he was invited back immediately. Levi has released some great music recently including his self titled EP and more recently released a single with the amazing Alison Krauss titled Love Heals.
Levi will be playing all of the dates along with Kristian Bush.
Lindsay Ell is another very treasured artist here in the UK . We first fell in love with Lindsay when she supported The Band Perry in 2013 and she has since been back a number of times including Country Music Week last year and we are excited for her return.
Lindsay released her debut studio album The Project last year which has received a lot of high praise. As well as being a talented singer/songwriter she is also an exceptional guitar player and it is worth going to her shows for that alone.
Lindsay will be playing Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester only.
Twinnie is an up and coming UK singer/songwriter recently signed to BMG. With credits on both albums from The Shires, Twinnie has already proven her songwriting talent before even releasing an album. With an album in the works, fans can find music from Twinnie in her original songs Home, Cool and a fantastic Under The Apple Tree session of her original songs Lie To Me and Looking Out For You.
Twinnie will be playing London and Bristol only.
Tickets go on general sale Friday 9th February here
