Kenny Foster to tour UK end of August after a surprise set at the Tottenham Hotspur team dinner in Music City last week

Nashville-based singer/songwriter Kenny Foster
played a surprise set at the Tottenham Hotspur team dinner in Music City last week.

Following an exclusive performance to attendees at a VIP reception as part of the team’s pre-season tour, Foster – a long time Spurs fan – surprised players by taking to the stage towards the end of their meal with a set consisting both of his own songs and a medley of fan chants, including nods to Mousa Dembele, Jan Vertonghen and Mauricio Pochettino. He was then invited to play for over 2,000 fans at Nashville’s famous Wildhorse Saloon venue on Broadway the following night.

Foster, who recently released his new full-length album ‘Deep Cuts’, featuring the single ‘Stand’ which is gaining traction on both sides of the pond, thanks to extensive radio play and rave reviews, will embark on his first tour of the UK & Ireland in late August/early September, including festival appearances and an ‘Under The Apple Tree’ event in Yorkshire, hosted and curated by BBC Radio 2 DJ ‘Whispering’ Bob Harris.

Recently highlighted as one of the ‘new country artists you need to know’ by Rolling Stone, Kenny Foster has shared stages with Maren Morris, Kacey Musgraves, Brothers Osborne, and Buddy Miller among others.
