Jersey/Gloucestershire based singer/songwriter Amy Moore is releasing her fan-favourite track Part of My
Heart on 1st August. A track that has been on Moore’s live set lists for a while now, fans have been eager to have a studio version to play at home and from August 1st, they can.
Described as a song that is her “deeply personal journey into memory and belonging”, Moore sings of childhood and missing those innocent childhood moments growing up in the house that shaped you.
“Imagine there’s a place you know so well you can hear the creak of every floorboard, or the hum of the kitchen radio on a weekend morning.”
The song and accompanying video takes us on a journey where Amy revisits her childhood home through dreams and reflection.
“It’s a funny concept, how a house that once felt like part of your soul now also holds someone else’s story. But memory lets us return whenever we need to” says Amy. “I wanted
to test whether I could describe that kind of connection through song. I hope it takes listeners somewhere with meaning for them, too.”
Part of My Heart is beautiful ballad which is highly moving and will no doubt resonate with anyone who has had to say goodbye to the house they grew up in.
Part of My Heart is available on all major platforms from 1st August 2025.
