Angel White is one of those rare artists that has a unique voice which instantly captivates its listener. A western soul, White’s music is timeless.

Seeing Angel White at Country 2 Country (C2C) Festival felt like a special discovery! One of our highlights of the entire weekend, White may only have a handful of songs out at the moment but those songs are of such high quality that we can only imagine what his soon to be released album Ghost of the West is going to be like!

Angel White released his new single Outlaw on Friday 29th March. A song he teased in form of a live version at C2C Festival, despite having only heard that song for the first time there and then, it was a definite stand out!

The studio version is an infectious bluesy song with a cool groove and a wicked slide guitar segment towards the end. Outlaw is a very cleverly written song that seems simple yet gives so much! The vocals, the guitar, the words deliver a stellar track that shows a glimpse of not only what a masterpiece Ghost of The West is bound to be, but of what a bright future Angel White has.

OUTLAW will appear on White’s debut release GHOST OF THE WEST: VOLUME I, out May 10, which artfully blends elements of folk, country, soul, and rock to create a sound that’s uniquely his, reflecting the vast landscapes of his upbringing and untamed spirit of the West. The 6-song (plus an interlude) release takes listeners on a journey through soulful melodies, captivating narratives and introspective lyrics inspired by the wide-open spaces of his hometown of Cleburne, TX, where his roots run deep with a family lineage of cowboys and century-old tradition of raising horses.

White has teased several songs off the release, GHOST OF THE WEST: VOLUME I, including “VILLAIN,” “IF YOU’RE GONNA LEAVE,” “RED BLANKET,” and “LONG WAY UP.” Together, they have garnered over 2M streams and appeared on highly coveted playlists such as Spotify Fresh Finds, Spotify New Music Friday Country, Apple Music: New in Country, Amazon Breakthrough Folk, and TIDAL Rising Country. In the same year, White toured with artists Shane Smith and the Saints, Kaitlin Butts, Paul Cauthen, The Arc Angels, and Josh Abbott Band and has played major festivals like Austin City Limits, FORMAT, Luck Reunion, and SXSW.
