From the very first time we saw Kip Moore play the O2 Arena at C2C Festival in 2015 we were completely blown away. He opened the stage and his set was crazily energetic with such an unbelievable atmosphere that he gained an insane amount of new fans. When Kip announced his headline tour not long after that C2C the entire tour pretty much sold out.
Kip returned to the C2C stage in 2018 and went from opener in 2015 to just under headliner Kacey Musgraves in 2018. The show in 2018 saw an even more headline worthy set.
This year Kip played on the Friday night of C2C in London at the O2 Arena just before Miranda Lambert. Moore did not disappoint. A moment we had all been waiting two years for, Kip and his band The Slow Hearts gave it their all and the energy was on fire. Kip was born to be on the stage. His gravelly vocals soar beautifully over the audience and his country rock styled music creates the most amazing atmosphere that make you feel like your in the middle of a headline stadium rock concert.

Kip played an absolute blinder of a setlist which included a healthy amount of tracks from UK fans favourite album Wild Ones. Wild Ones holds such a special place within the fans over here since his first show here in 2015 so there were a lot of happy people in the audience. This album has such a hardcore cult following and for us here at BOON it is one of the best albums of all time. Tracks from the album played were Wild Ones (which is a song we hope will never leave his live shows), That Was Us, Heart’s Desire and Come and Get It. These songs are phenomenal in a live setting. They each have such an atmospheric sing-a-long moment that they create a whole new level of energy within the crowd.
Kip did a cover of Everybody Wants to Rule The World by Tears for Fears which was also a really special moment.
Other songs that were met with a fun vibe were Beer Money and Last Shot which he closed with to a very happy and eager crowd.

Kip is undoubtedly a headliner. He is incredibly hard to follow so when are we going to see him headline the whole night at C2C? He has certainly earned it!
