Leave is the long awaited debut single from UK female country trio The Adelaides. The song waswritten by Grammy Award winning Nashville song-writer, Marcus Hummon (Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw, Dixie Chicks) who first met the band when they shared a stage with his son, Levi, at their first ever gig as a three during Country Music Week 2017.
Immediately impressed by the girls talent, Marcus told them that he had the perfect song for them.
The song is a fantastic, fun lovin’ track with a really strong traditional country sound which puts their standards up very high and we can only expect bigger things from this wonderful trio. The girls, Abi, Paris and Alicia have three very different voices that blend so beautifully together and deliver a UK version of The Dixie Chicks which is really exciting.
The Adelaides have been making waves in the live music scene across the UK for some time now. Having made their live debut at Country Music Week 2017, they have also played the likes of Cornbury, BST Hyde Park, C2C Festival and more as supporting the likes of Catherine McGrath, Megan McKenna, Ashley Campbell, Key West and “Nashville” TV Show’s favourite, Charles Esten, which they will return on tour with later in the year and includes a night at the legendary Royal Albert Hall in London.
The Adelaides head out to Nashville to play the illustrious CMA Fest, early June to perform on Broadway – one of just a handful of UK artists invited to perform and the first unsigned UK act to play the festival.
