Ward Thomas released their 3rd Studio Album ‘Restless Minds’ at the start of February 2019 and kicked off this Album tour. I have followed Ward Thomas since they started out so it has been great to see them grow.
In their set they included a number of hits from their 3 Album’s, ‘From Where we Stand (2104), Cartwheels (2016) and ‘Restless Minds (2019).
Ward Thomas came on stage at 9pm to a packed out audience and performed a mix of songs from all of their albums, including 13 from ‘Restless Minds’ and performed for 80 minutes. One of my favourite songs from Restless Minds is ‘Changing’ which sadly was not performed, hopefully i’ll get to hear it live soon.
Ward Thomas opened their set with 5 songs with their band before stripping it back and doing a duo acoustic set which was highlight for myself as it highlighted their vocals.
The band came back out for several more numbers including a rocky melody of Town Called Ugly and Push For The Stride.
When Ward Thomas came back out for an encore they introduced The Wandering Hearts to assist with Carry you Home.
