Why Travelodge-Waterloo is your perfect affordable stay

With C2C Festival just around the corner and various other shows in London. With so many country fans arriving in waterloo station or nearby, the question on where to stay is always being asked.

I recently stayed at Travelodge-Waterloo which is about a five minute walk (max) from the train station. As you walk out, cross the road, turn right and you will be there in minutes.

Why is this Travelodge a great place to stay? Well for starters it has a 24 hour bar which is thriving with its young, fun staff and clientele. Festival goers are always looking for a party after a show so the more who stay in one place, the more fun you will have. As well as a bar, limited food is also available 24 hours which includes stone baked pizza and this is perfect for that after show hunger. The Pizza is yummy too.

The rooms are like any Travelodge room, basic but pretty much all you need. TV, tea and coffee facilities and of course a bathroom and bed.

Waterloo station is on the same line as North Greenwich (O2 Arena) and is about six stops so about 16 mins journey. No tube changes, direct!

Anyway, looking up prices it is about £176 for the Fri, Sat and Sun of C2C Festival – that is all together not per night.

Book early to avoid price increase. Some bookings can be cancelled up until noon of day of arrival, worth checking.
