C2C Festival: Twinnie – London O2 Arena – Town Square Stage

Twinnie has come a long way since she released her debut EP in 2016. We at BOON have been championing her since than and are delighted to see her progression both musically and fan base wise

Twinnie has it all, she has a stunning voice, wonderful songwriting talents and captivating performance skills.

This year marks the second year running that Twinnie has played C2C Festival. We caught Twinnie’s set on Sunday on The Town Square stage which was absolutely packed. Twinnie looked like a movie star, a classic beauty Twinnie had the audience in the palm of her hand with her quick witted banter and beautiful voice.

Playing songs we know and love well such as Home, Looking Out For You, Lie To Me and Cool, we also got to hear some new songs, well, new to me as it had been a while since I had seen her and so I got to see a song I heard a lot about called Superhero I believe.

Twinnie is a natural on stage and comes across very confident yet humble at the same time. Her music is some of the best of the UK country music scene and has a very strong country pop sound which is not only catchy but very well crafted and melodically gorgeous.

Twinnie ended her set with the stunningly heart wrenching Lie To Me followed by her up beat, fun country pop track Cool.

As a co writer on some of The Shires tracks, it is no wonder that Twinnie is stopping people in their tracks and signing with BMG. Twinnie is currently working on an album and if her debut EP is anything to go by then this album is going to be an absolute game changer. Twinnie has had an amazing couple of years and very busy ones at that. Having played Cornbury Festival last year and later being invited on stage by the one and only Bryan Adams, Twinnie had also been included as part of the UK’s first ever Country Music Week and part of the C2C Roadshow Sessions that took place post C2C Festival this year.

Twinnie is finally getting the recognition she deserves and if you get the opportunity to see her please do as she is more than just another singer trying to break the UK country scene, she is a natural talent with the gift of song who was meant to be a performer. Jump on the bandwagon quickly as this girl is going places.
