Seth Ennis is another one of those artists that even though he had only released one song, you knew he was going to be huge. When Seth was announced as part of C2C Festival on The Yamaha Stage, the only song he had out was Woke Up In Nashville. Despite having only one single the buzz surrounding Seth was really loud and every UK country fan knew who he was and were excited to get to see him.
Since being announced, Seth released his debut EP Mabelle just in time for C2C which was smartly planned.
Taking to the stage straight after Hunter Hayes’ performance, Seth had drawn a very large crowd which I told him he would when I spoke to him earlier in the day. I was so glad I was right but in truth, I had no doubt in my mind.
Seth began his set with Fast Girl. His voice is wonderfully smooth and easy on the ear. He has an element of Hunter Hayes in his tone and his music holds similarities to Sam Hunt in a very slight way. Seth has so much to offer and certainly gained a lot of fans across the weekend already as had been doing various shows across the days.
Seth then took to the piano for Think & Drive and shows us a sensitive and emotive side to his vocal as well as a more passionate and pure tone. This song is a beautiful ballad and it really amplified in the arena sounding stunning and chilling and visually beautiful with everyone lighting up their phones.
Seth stayed at the keyboards for Woke Up In Nashville, his debut and very successful single. This song is such a wonderfully addictive song to listen to with a fun, sing along chorus and a glorious melody that is mesmerising. Seth did not disappoint with the live version and even snuck in I Woke Up in London, which he had to right?
Seth truly captivated his audience with his music and performance and left the audience wanting more – and more we shall have soon as Seth returns to the UK later this year with Little Big Town which includes a show at The Royal Albert Hall which Seth is very excited about as is a bucket list moment for him and as I pointed out to him, it’s the UK equivalent of a Grand Ole Opry debut.
Well done Seth, we simply cannot wait to have you back, the UK loves you.
