Young US country sensations Maddie & Tae played a sold-out UK tour in October and found themselves performing in Manchester on the same night as British hit duo Ward Thomas. Seizing the opportunity to collaborate, the artists met on Ward Thomas’ tour bus and swapped songs and chat. They were filmed covering each other’s songs and the resulting videos will be posted for fans. The songs performed by Maddie & Tae will be posted on their Vevo channel.

The October visit was Maddie & Tae’s first tour of the UK and they were supported by Una Healy, embarking on a solo career whilst the Saturdays are taking a break. The dates were prompted by a rapturous reception to their performance at C2C at London’s 02 Arena last March, during which Maddie and Tae promised fans they would return.
