US Singer/Songwriter Willow Avalon opened the Great Oak Stage for Zach Bryan at BST Hyde Park on Saturday, June 28th, 2025. Facing the early-day challenge of energizing the crowd, Avalon not only embraced the task but exceeded it with her soulful blend of traditional southern gospel music.

Starting with Something We Regret, Willow Avalon took command of the Great Oak Stage with poise and confidence . Her sweet southern accent, strong country twang and unapologetically sassy lyrics showed her authenticity and she instantly connected with the audience.

Highlights came from The Actor (which she duets with Charles Wesley Godwin on the studio version), Hell In A Hand Bag and Homewrecker. Whilst the studio versions of her songs are exquisite, the live versions are delivered so expressively on stage that they bring a whole new light and life to the songs. That in equal part, is down to her well established band who looked picture perfect on stage and performed exceptionally. There’s something so incredibly powerful about hearing the pedal steel guitar in the open air of Hyde Park.

As well as fan favourites, Avalon introduced new material. Each track as captivating as the last, Willow proved she’s showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Willow Avalon without a doubt earned her spot on the main stage and we are excited to follow what we know will be an incredible career. Avalon is set to be one of the leading female artists in country music, just watch this space.
