HUDSON WESTBROOK -‘WEATHERMAN’ – SINGLE REVIEW

On Friday, rising country artist Hudson Westbrook released his latest single Weatherman. Written by Westbrook, Lukas Scott, Neil Medley, Reid Haughton, and Beau Bailey, Weatherman is a superb mid-tempo tune with an ear catching melody and beautiful instrumentation that provides the perfect balance between traditional country roots and a crisp, modern sound.

The song has a unique way of blending raw emotion with quick witted lyrics. The tongue-in-cheek breakup song plays the ever so common blame game where in this case involves the local weather forecaster. Weatherman showcases the writers collective ability to weave humor, storytelling, and heartache seamlessly. The tracks relatable twist gives the song an authentic edge.

The second we wrote this song I wanted to put it out,Hudson shares. “It’s one of my favorites I’ve ever written, so to see people reacting to it already has been really validating and exciting. I can’t wait to get out and play it for y’all.”
