Formerly one half of Florida Georgia Line, (The Florida half) Brian Kelley has been making a name for himself as a solo artist for a while now. His Sunshine State of Mind album in which he wrote or co-wrote all the tracks was created in 2020 when the world was pretty much shut down and live music was nonexistent. Kelley found writing in those moments to be a sense of peace and ended up delivering some wonderfully authentic music.

The album showed a different and more personal side to Brian Kelley and he has become one of the most exciting male solo artists in country music today!

Brian Kelley has gone back to Big Machine Records to record his first solo full length album with them on May 10th titled Tennesse Truth.

Taking to the O2 Arena stage for the first time since he last graced it as part of Florida Georgia Line back in 2015 when Country 2 Country (C2C) was only its third year, Kelley was welcomed back for 2024 with open arms and it was clear to see just how large his fanbase is here in the UK.

Despite being part of one country music’s biggest duo’s, Brian Kelley is humble and seemed genuinely surprised that the fans knew his solo material. The gratitude was clear and you could see how happy he was to be there.

Highlights came from Party On The Beach, Beach Cowboy, Trucks, Bucks, Ducks and Beer and Boat Names. Boat Names was particularly memorable and on several occasions he spoke of his love for his wife of ten years.

The crowd were of course expecting or hoping for some Florida Georgia Line material but I for one am glad that he didn’t. I prefer Kelley’s solo work, he seems more at home with it on stage and it felt like we were getting a really good idea of who Brian Kelley is.

Lots of energy throughout the set, songs new and old – Kelley brought everything and more to his performance. A great mixture from various decades and stylings of country music, Kelley won over so many new fans that night with his solo work! He will definitely be back and we the fans are ready!
