The Big Feastival is one of the nicest ‘all genres’ festival we have been to. Centred around all the family, there is something for everyone performance wise. For us of course, it’s all about The Smokery and The Sundown Saloon. This wonderful stage plays host to country, folk and Americana artists and it seems to be gaining more and more popularity as the years go on. Well, it’s only been on for two years but already the stage has grown bigger and the high calibre of artists has increased. This year saw the likes of Katy Hurt, Raintown, The Rising, Harleymoon Kemp, Laura Oakes, First Time Flyers and more!
But who do we want to see grace the stage next year? So far it has pretty much been UK artists (with the exception of honorary brits Jess and The Bandits) so with UK acts in mind, we have made a list of who we believe will be absolutely perfect for the feastival!

Demi Marriner is a must, before she gets too big. Her debut album The Things We Didn’t Say is absolutely sensational and her live music will definitely draw in the crowds. Songs like Sins with its instrumental intro will fill the Smokery air in a way that will make you feel like you’re in the heart of an Americana festival in the US. She will be a highlight and we really hope she plays the feastival!
Foreign Affairs – Bristol based brothers are such superb musicians with really beautiful music. We have been obsessed with Maybe He Already Knows since its release as it truly is one of the most beautiful songs in such a long time. It is a song that’s so real and relatable from the lockdown times – when those hospital moments were incredibly tough for many!
Motel Sundown are a band that need to be seen! They are another unsigned British act whose debut album absolutely blew us away from the first intro. Harmonies to eat you up (it’s a feastival so it had to be said), skilled musicianship, they have it all! This group will undoubtedly be show stoppers and definitely ones to remember. I hope they come fully kitted with a good use of instruments, although, their vocals are good enough instruments to deliver a heck of a show anyway.
Jordan Harvey – a Scottish singer/songwriter who resides out in Nashville and formerly part of King Calaway! Harvey was ever so popular at this years The Long Road Festival and will undoubtedly win the hearts of many at The Big Feastival bringing in a youthful crowd who will realise that country music is actually pretty dang awesome!
As well as The Sundown Saloon, we think it would be really nice to see some country/Americana acts upon the main stage. Who would suit an all genre crowd though? Well we have made a couple of suggestions below….
Megan McKenna would be a fantastic choice for the main stage. Her uplifting, pop infused country tunes such as Confetti and Ruin Your Night will get every member of the audience listening , even the kids. Given her popularity with a wider audience outside of music since her reality tv days, The Big Feastival would be another great opportunity for Megan to prove that she belongs not just in country music but the music industry as a whole.
Far From Saints would be another fantastic act to place on the main stage. Playing various festivals this summer including Glastonbury. Front man Kelly Jones from Stereophonics along with The Wind and The Waves’ Patty Lynn and Dwight Baker released one of our favourite albums of 2023. Already successful with not just their other projects fanbase, Far From Saints have built their own audience over the last year and have almost sold out their headline tour this Autumn. Their music screams ‘live music’ and the Feastival crowd will be hungry for more!
We can’t wait for the lineup, it’s going to be a long wait but worth it!!!!
