The Big Feastival is one of the largest Family Friendly Festivals in the UK. Held at Alex James’ (of Blur) farm in the heart of the Cotswolds, The Big Feastival isn’t just for the foodies, but for the kids and for music lovers too!
Always delivering a stellar line up, this years headliners include Tom Grennan, Sigrid and Blossoms with other acts including Natalie Imbruglia, Rick Astley, Everything Everything, Melanie C and more!
However, we are here to talk about the Country acts.
This year we are so delighted to see the return of The Sundown Saloon! Last year the small yet intimate and very enjoyable stage played host to acts such as Morganway, Maddi and Marc, Izzie Walsh, Jake Morrel and more!
Set in the Smokery section of the feastival, the atmosphere there is always wonderful and nothing is better than a bit of country music amidst a fire pit, smokery and all kinds of Americana food!
There are a lot of names we are familiar with on the line up this year and we are so excited! Every single one of them is worth checking out! We also can’t wait to check out the acts we aren’t familiar with yet! However, we have briefly touched on the acts that we do know and will be writing about the ones we don’t when we have seen them!
First up is FRIDAY. Friday will see the likes of many homegrown acts such as;

Katy is one of the UK’s finest vocalists in country music. Having spent many years in Canada, Hurt brings a little dash of Canadian Country to her music. If you like traditional country then look no further as Katy has a beautiful way of blending traditional with modern!
Katy will undoubtedly show feastival goers a fun time with her beautiful ballads and up tempo tunes. An artist for the adults and the kids, Katy will likely win the hearts of many at the Feastival.
This will be such a special setting to see Katy and her band in, so make sure you stop by and bring the kids too!!

Daughter of Martin and Shirley Kemp, Harleymoon has been making waves within the UK country music scene for a few years now!
A fun, outgoing personality, Harleymoon brings all of that to her performances as well as amazing outfits and good tunes. Harley is a beautiful songwriter and writes from the heart and her songs ooze relatability making her an artist to feel connected to in the most wonderful way. With some songs being full of heartbreaking words pulling at the heartstrings, songs such as Love on The Radio have an upbeat melody which will get everyone up on their feet.
Saturday
First Time Flyers.

First Time Flyers are made up of four already well established singer/songwriters in the UK country community! Already an impressive following, the band are bound to draw the crowds with energetic performances and beautiful harmonies. FTF are just about to release their new single Don’t Tempt Me in time for The Big Feastival. Poppy, Vicki, Tim and Jake Will undoubtedly provide a stunning set with theirs singles Happier, Gold and more!
Jess and The Bandits

If you are craving a powerhouse vocalist then Jess Clemons from Jess and The Bandits is the one! A beautiful voice and a beautiful soul, Jess and her bandits always delight on stage. Always pulling off an incredible set, if the time we saw them is anything to go by then everyone is in for a treat! If you love traditional country then this is an unmissable band. Texas grown, songs like Hey Girl will pull at the heart strings and have you completely enthralled! Nitty Gritty if played will have you up on your feet and singing along in no time!
The Rising

Belfast based duo The Rising are another duo to watch out for. Another powerhouse vocalist in Chantelle, look out for wickedly slick guitar skills from Chris Logan. The Rising will provide a very entertaining set with their ever brilliant songs which have a very strong Nashville tinge whilst remaining a homegrown sound too. Current single Endless Summer should get everyone dancing along, let’s just hope we have the weather to dance too but that still shouldn’t stop anyone!
Sunday
Raintown

Raintown have been one of the most popular country music acts in the UK for a while now! Glasgow based, Paul and Claire are the sweetest people and really shine in a live setting. This duo have a huge following and it isn’t hard to see why! We have missed them actually. Raintown haven’t been around as much over the years as have been concentrating on being a family (which we totally relate to) so it’s nice to have them at The Feastival. Hopefully many shows will follow!
Laura Oakes

Laura Oakes will always be a huge part of my life with being the first live show my now 7 year old ever went to. Laura is a beautiful vocalist and a fantastic performer. Her songs are stunning! With a folk tinge to her music, songs such as Love Is Like A Butterfly are breathtakingly beautiful! Oakes is bound to be a highlight for many!
