Once in a while an artist comes along who sticks in our minds in the best kind of way and Jenny Tolman is one who will be in our minds and playlists for a long time yet. Jenny most recently released her fantastic single Rock & Roll to my Country Soul and we just cannot get enough of it. The song is a perfect blend of traditional and modern country with an old school rock ‘n’ roll edge. Jenny’s vocals are delightfully infectious and wonderfully captivating and we can’t wait to hear even more from her in the new year as we think it is going to be a big one for her.

We asked Jenny to be part of our Stories Behind The Songs – The Live Version feature and we are absolutely in love with this acoustic version of Rock & Roll to my Country Soul. Jenny shares the story behind the song and is joined by Grammy Nominated Producer Dave Brainard on guitar with whom she also wrote the song with alongside Sophie Sanders.
