British Summertime (BST Hyde Park)

Full Line Up Announced for Shania Twain’s Debut BST Hyde Park Show

American Express presents BST Hyde Park welcomes global superstar Shania Twain on Sunday 7 July for her BST Hyde Park debut. Summer has arrived and so has the full line up for country pop queen Shania’s headlining show; Cate, Nell Mescal, Dea Matrona, Hannah Grae, Natalie Shay and Germein are heading to Hyde Park. They previously announced special guests The Corrs, Anne-Marie, Elle King and Natalie Imbruglia on the all female bill. Let’s Go Girls!

After releasing pop anthems like ‘U Want Me’ and ‘One Hit Wonder,’ Canadian-born, London-based pop singer-songwriter Cate explores melancholic reflection with her new tracks ‘Rocket Science’ and ‘You Don’t Love Me,’ presenting effortless country power ballads. Having supported Maisie Peters on tour, Cate continues to captivate audiences with her infectious, confessional pop. Inspired by Dolly Parton and Hannah Montana, her music blends sugary pop hues with playful, vulnerable lyrics. With over 10 million Spotify streams since her 2019 debut, Cate’s successful UK & Ireland headline tour demonstrates her unstoppable momentum. Next stop, BST Hyde Park.

Nell Mescal, known for her ethereal voice and evocative songwriting, will enchant the crowd with her warm, emotional and raw live performance. The Irish singer now resides in London, where she moved in 2021 to focus on writing and recording music, and is drawn to and inspired by artists from across genres and generations from Phoebe Bridgers to Paul Simon. Her most recent EP ‘Can I Miss It For A Minute’ was hailed by Dork “Nell’s early promise is more than realised.”

Dea Matrona, the dynamic rock trio from Belfast, are ready to energise the BST Hyde Park audience with their high-octane performances and infectious melodies. Their 2024 album ‘For Your Sins’ has solidified their reputation as one of the most exciting new acts on the scene, plus they won the Best Live Act award at the Northern Ireland Music Prize and have just wrapped up a highly praised UK dates.

Welsh artist Hannah Grae shows no signs of slowing down. She recently dropped two new songs, ‘New Temptation’ and ‘Aeroplane Jelly’, right on the heels of her first-ever headline gig at The Grace in London in May. The new songs have joined her stunning latest mini-album ‘Nothing Lasts Forever’ and here’s hoping BST Hyde Park gets to hear the live version.

Also on this incredible bill joining Shania Twain is Natalie Shay, a prolific indie pop artist from London, and Australian sister trio Germein, bringing their harmonious pop rock sound to Hyde Park.

Speaking of her Hyde Park show, Shania Twain says: “I’ve seen so many of my own musical heroes headlining at Hyde Park and have wonderful summer memories there. It is a real privilege to headline my own show this year. It’s going to be a s**t-kicking party!”
