If you haven’t booked yet for Wychwood Festival then we highly recommend you do now! A festival that is great for those who not only love a variety of music, but for those whom enjoy a range of activities and an overall fun weekend. The beautiful thing about Wychwood festival is that you can cater it around to what you enjoy! If you want a chilling weekend, then Wychwood can absolutely provide that for you! Whether you have boutique camping or regular camping, there are so many quiet areas to just chill out and relax! Within the actual festival there are chilled areas, ambient music and even places to have a massage!
If you want to completely let loose after a hard week of work then you will certainly find yourself letting go at Wychwood. Music to rave to, rock to and more, the festival also holds a range of comedians, Barryaoke for Karaoke, plenty of bars, rides and more!
Now, is Wychwood a family friendly festival? You bet it is! We go every year with our kids and they have the best time, citing it as one of their favourite festivals. There are activities for the children scattered across the event including such things as a scout caving, rides, face painting, craft making and even a book tent where authors come and do a reading!
The music is exceptional this year. With a variety of genres across the weekend. As a teen of the 90’s, I for one cannot wait to see The Levellers and enjoy a beautiful day with them in this garden and with, I am sure, many a Julie, who will not be lonely at Wychwood.
Elles Bailey will undoubtedly uplift festival goers with her Americana/Country/Blues music. If you haven’t seen her before then she is an absolute must. Elles has won many blues and americana awards and her soulful vocals and infectious energy will make her a highlight for anyone who is lucky enough to see her set!
Everything Everything are another group we cannot wait to see! If they don’t play No Reptiles, I may have to go backstage and have a word! The group are fun, art-pop, Indietronica group and will “wow” the audiences.
We will go back in time to see Boney M to song songs such as Daddy Cool.
