As a seasoned festival-goer, I usually come home with aching feet—don’t most people? The pain can be so intense that I often struggle to sleep afterward. As a country music fan, I’ve always wanted to wear cowboy boots to events like BST Hyde Park and The Long Road Festival, but it’s never quite worked out for me. Maybe I just hadn’t found the right pair, but in the past, even after breaking them in, I still ended up with blisters and found it a real struggle to take them off after a full day and night of wear.
Something had to change—I needed to find the right, comfortable footwear to make my festival days more bearable. I even found wearing trainers weren’t helping as they lacked the support that I needed. That’s when I discovered LANX. I hadn’t worn their boots before, but I was eager to try them and I had read many recommendations. Whilst browsing the website, I was specifically looking for something that had a slight cowboy-boot vibe without sacrificing comfort.

The Edgworth boot is a water-resistant oil pull-up leather Chelsea boot and is part of Lanx’s women’s 365 Vibram collection. They are built on a durable rubber Vibram sole offering support, stability, with fantastic grip so would be great for all types of weather and great for anyone who has any issues with pain in their feet.
They are also suitable for indoor wear as have a non-scratch rubber compound. The boots are very light in weight and extremely comfortable. In my experience, there was no break in time – this may differ from person to person but at most, it would be very little break in time. The Edgworth boots are very easy to slip on and off and the inside of them is so comfortable that you won’t need thick socks like you do with a lot of boots. That was very welcomed as in the heat of the summer, the last thing you want to do is wear thick socks.
This weekend we were at BST Hyde Park covering Zach Bryan day as media which meant we were constantly walking back and forth.
Walking in the Edgworth boots was effortless and incredibly comfortable, they are light enough to never make you feel weighed down. There’s plenty of room for your feet to breathe, preventing any discomfort or rubbing. We received numerous compliments on them and couldn’t stop raving about how comfortable they were overall to anyone who asked.
Like many of LANX’s designs, the Edgworth boots are built with hiking in mind, making them ideal for long days of walking around music festivals. They’re also highly durable and are resistant to scratches and scuffs—so you should notice very little wear and tear, even after heavy use. The boots are also easy to wipe clean, which is a huge bonus after muddy festival grounds.
These boots are available in a variety of colours, so it’s definitely worth browsing the LANX website to see what suits your style. If the Edgworth isn’t for you, there are plenty of other boot and shoe options available to your personal taste, many of which would make great choices for festivals.
