Hyde Park was packed with hardcore Zach Bryan fans on Saturday, 28th June 2025 for BST Hyde Park. The fans, who came from all across the globe brought an infectious energy from the very start of the afternoon. The anticipation in the air was clear to see as the crowd eagerly awaited his performance even though it was hours away. Some fans ran and secured their spots at the front barrier, un phased by standing hours in the unshaded heat. Other attendees spent the day walking around the park, catching artists throughout the day on various stages and drinking and socialising with friends. No matter where you were, people were celebrating their love for Bryan in every corner of Hyde Park.
When the band arrived on stage to get the crowd warmed up, the atmosphere was like nothing else. Bryan casually walked on the stage and the roar from the audience was so loud and so impactful, we knew we were in for a great night – after all, the audience are an integral part of a live show. Starting with Overtime, the cheerful joy from the crowd was hard not to be a part of and before we knew it, we were chanting with everyone else.

One of the most unforgettable moments of the night came during the performance of Oklahoma Smokeshow. The crowd completely erupted in a loud and proud singalong. The sheer volume and energy left took him by surprise. In fact, Bryan repeatedly shared his gratitude to his fans and how he will never forget the night and hopes it will the best night of the audiences lives. For many, I am certain that will be true.
We were treated with new song Streets of London which is being released on Monday. The live performance of that song was powerfully emotive and felt right to be played at BST Hyde Park in the heart of London.
“I’m not trying to impress anyone on a Saturday night but if I didn’t sing this you guys would kill me” Zach said before playing Something In The Orange. Of course, the song was very well received.
UK country artist and rising star Ollie Hawkins joined Bryan on stage for the song Heading South. Hawkins (so I am told) won his spot on The Great Oak Stage after he made a string of tiktok videos hoping Bryan would invite him on stage. A fantastic performance from Hawkins – it felt like he had been performing to large crowds such as Hyde Park for years.
Another guest appearance came from support act Dermot Kennedy. Described as “the best singer in the world” by Bryan, the pair performed an exceptional version of Hey Driver.

Quittin’ Time was musically phenomenal live. Strong hints of traditional country, it was another one of the more memorable parts of the evening as was Nine Ball. A song, meant for the live setting, Nine Ball was another fun crowd interaction moment and it was beautiful to see the crowd still fully engaged over an hour and a half later.
There was quite a long pause before the encore to the point some people were uncertain of his return. However, Zach Bryan was never going to leave his audience so abruptly and of course came back to perform the much lengthened version of Revival. A song he uses to introduce his band, the ten minute (or so) version could have lasted for an hour and fans would have been happy. The beauty in the atmosphere was quite emotional. Closing the night with fireworks as a celebratory farewell, Zach Bryan pulled off one of the best live shows Hyde Park has probably ever seen. Fans were singing Revival out loud all the way back to their designated destination and they will probably be singing it for days.
It isn’t just listening to Zach Bryan and his band playing music that makes him one of the best live acts today. It’s also the way he communicates with his audience — it adds a whole new level to the experience. It’s the way the loveable, southern tone in his voice slows down as if he is narrating.

The Oklahoma native is a natural on stage. His charismatic on stage persona makes you fall in love with him over and over again. It’s more than just an experience seeing him live, it’s a moment that stays with you long after the final note the band plays and he reminds his fans why live music matters. You simply can’t appreciate music the same way if you have never seen it live. His band are some of the finest musicians in the world and witnessing their skill was awe-inspiring.
Zach Bryan’s live shows are meant for a big stage and a huge audience and Hyde Park was the perfect location. Tens of thousands of fans in an open aired concert during British Summer Time all singing along to every word felt incredibly emotional that I would imagine even people new to his music would have felt all the passion.
Zach Bryan is well on his way to becoming a country music legend. Being at Hyde Park tonight felt like being a part of history. Each and every fan who was lucky enough to be there will be talking about it to future generations, for years to come.
