One of the most exciting things about going to BST Hyde Park isn’t just the headline act but the full day experience. Starting at 2pm, there is plenty of time to catch some support acts whether you are already a fan of them, or discovering them for the very first time.
This year, with another country artist, Zach Bryan, headlining, we naturally have a strong lineup of country artists supporting him and one artist we highly recommend catching on the day is Angel White.
Fifth-generation Texas native, country singer-songwriter Angel White made his UK debut at C2C Festival in 2024. With a huge crowd that followed his sets across the C2C weekend, White has created a loyal fanbase in the UK which continues to grow.
Angel White released his album Ghost of The West in March this year to much critical acclaim. The album is inspired by the wide-open spaces of his hometown of Cleburne, TX, where his roots run deep with a family lineage of cowboys and century-old tradition of raising horses. White describes the release as “An ode to the forgotten, a message to the lost, a light in the dark, the ghost of the west.”

Angel White is one of those rare artists that has a unique voice which instantly captivates its listener. A western soul, White’s music blends genres such as Country, Americana, Rock, Blues and Soul whilst also showcasing his Texan roots with a beautiful signature western sound. His music is somewhat cinematic and most certainly timeless. Music that is gentle to the ears and deeply gratifying, Ghost of The West is a soulful, vulnerable and authentic debut from White and places him, in our opinion, as one of the most exciting and refreshing artists to emerge in music for a while.

Angel White is an artist that is likely to garner respect from fellow musicians as well as fans. We are excited to watch his career grow from strength to strength and his appearance at BST Hyde Park is an absolute must-see. White will playing on the Birdcage stage on both Saturday 28th June and Sunday 29th June. The Birdcage stage is somewhat of an “introducing” stage and a great chance to see some up and coming artists in an intimate setting whilst you can. White will undoubtedly captivate his audience with songs such as Red Blanket, Outlaw, Crossroads, Villain and more!
