No-one brings the party quite like Breland. Come rain or come shine (and boy was it raining), Breland’s fans will be there and the Brands Hatch Speedfest goers stuck it out until the rain stopped just shortly before he took to the stage.
Leaping on stage to Cowboy Don’t, the crowd was buzzing, dancing and singing along to every word. The energy was crazy, it always is with Breland and it’s so easy to see why he is also popular with kids because he is fun, engaging and an all around phenomenal entertainer. You could never get bored at his show, take a trip to the bar and you will miss something epic.
Thirsty, Natural and Thick pretty much made the ground shake with the amount of jumping that was going on. Everyone went even more wild for My Truck and his impression of Hardy during Beers on Me was comical.
There wasn’t a moment that people weren’t loving. It was a rare moment to see people fully invested and not being stuck behind their phones, at least not from where we were standing.
Breland is my kids favourite artist and one of mine too and this was the first time my four year old had seen him and it was beautiful to hear him sing along to Throw It Back. Sat on my shoulders, we bounced to the whole song, it is one of those songs that brings such a vibe.
Icing was insane live! That song was made for live shows and you can’t help but join in with the screams. It is definitely a new favourite for me at live shows and may it long continue on his set lists. The band were incredible as always. The passion they all have on stage is warming.
A very special moment came from when Kezia Gill joined Breland on One Door Closes which is a song he recently released with Ella Henderson. Kezia’s vocal ability matched that of Henderson and together, Kezia and Breland really create magic.

Cracks, which was one of the songs most requested live amongst UK fans, didn’t disappoint. It is such a strong country/folk song that translates beautifully live. Run, For What It’s Worth and I Told You I Could Drink gave us stunning vocal moments that really soared across the breezy night sky.
Closing with Praise the Lord, the change up of Thomas Rhett’s lyrics from “praise the lord for my three babies and the one that’s on the way to praise the lord for having no babies and none are on the way” was hilarious.
Words can’t quite describe how a Breland show makes me feel and experiencing it outside, even with poor weather, was something else. I haven’t had this much fun at a show in so long! Breland just makes his fans feel so special and so appreciated and you can really see that he loves what he is doing.
It is hard to believe that this is the first festival that Breland had headlined and we feel so very privileged to have been there for it!
“It won’t be long before Breland headline’s massive shows” I heard someone say and this we agree on. We would happily see Breland live again and again, even my kids said “we want more hours”!
