Miguel Montalban & The Southern Vultures Continue 2025 UK Tour

Chilean-born and London-based guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Miguel Montalban & The Southern Vultures will continue their ten-date headline UK Tour in 2025 presented by AGMP.

The UK tour commenced on 22nd March 2025 at Cart & Horses, Stratford, London (The Birthplace of Iron Maiden) and then visited Ropetackle Arts Centre in Shoreham, Y Muni Arts Centre Pontypridd and Pontardawe Arts Centre in Wales.

The date at The Old Wollen (Farsley) Leeds was originally scheduled for Thursday 22nd May 2025 but due to unforeseen circumstances it has been postponed to Saturday 30th May 2026.

The tour will then continue stopping at Kent, Barnoldswick, Cardiff, Putney and Birmingham.

Biography:
The electrifying Miguel Montalban is an embodiment of rock and roll ecstasy, with clear blues inspiration, displaying soulful vocals paired with an aptitude for exceptional guitar virtuosity.
Graduated in music at the Conservatory of Jazz music (2013) the London based (Chilean-born)
Montalban, become a world-class guitarist reaching over 150k followers worldwide, repeatedly toured Europe, USA, UK. The award-winning (YouTube Creator,2023) decided to move up to London in 2015, not before being awarded by Red bull, TourBus “Chiavi in Mano”, as “Best
Alternative Band” and “Best Frontman” (2013). Headlining tours in Sardegna and North Italy,
sponsored and signed by Red Bull Studios, in London Bridge, produce the singles “Honesty” and “Girl” with claimed Italian producers, Mario Riso (Rezophonic, Rock TV, Movida) and Olly Riva (The Fire, Rezophonic).

In London, he fronted the International Busking Day being recognised by millions becoming a viral YouTube sensation with his version of Dire Straits’ ‘Sultans of Swing’, notch millions of streams, worldwide claimed by Rod Stewart, at the Victoria and Albert Museum, from Los Angeles via satellite, as “One of the finest guitarists in London”, and Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits) as a “totally excellent musician”.

Montalban launched his original album “Guitar Juicebox” in 2017, and a year after a live concert album entitled “Live & Loud Vienna” (2018) grabbing magazines attention as performer and composer with the singles “Last Chance” and “Electrify” touring North Europe and the UK.

In London 2019, Montalban formed his band, The Southern Vultures. Debuting with the single “Fell in Love” and “The House” headlining the legendary 100 Club distinguishing an electrifying and explosive performance, becoming a regular feature. The music is a fusion of Modern Rock with clear Blues roots, fusioning of pristine and captivating virtuosic guitar sounds with exceptional musicianship. “The band and crowd connected in a way that only an exceptional music experience can achieve” (Steve Ritchie, Metal Talk Magazine).

In 2021 produced, Mixed and launched “And The Southern Vultures” a full CD containing 12 original songs and highly claimed cover version of “Hey Joe”, fluctuate viral on YouTube. The Album kicked off with “Wander” and “Let’s Try” as their first singles, having a highlight acoustic live performance of “Baby That’s Alright”, “True lies” and “Wander” at the Jimi Hendrix’s flat (London). The record was produced by Miguel Montalban and mastered by EROC (Sony Music, BMG, Grobstricht) and features the line-up: Bruno Pint (bass), Edoardo Mariotti (drums) and Marc Hayward (rhythm guitar), Maddison Goodie (Backing vocals) and Paul Bell (Hammond Organ and Piano).

Montalban, co-worked with Grammy awards producers. Kevin Metcalfe (Queen, David Bowie,
Duran Duran, White Stripes) produced single “Electrifying (Slight Return)” 2022, also worked
with worldwide claimed producer Mike Hedges, Haydn Bendall, on a Vincent Niclo’s Sony
production for the single “Adagio”, Andy Whitmore (Peter Andre, Elton John) and Eroc
(Grobschnitt, Robin Trower, Gary Moore).

In 2023, the band released a double album entitled “Live in Birmingham”, launched in London
Denmark St, is the perfect introduction to the new band lineup, which showcases the exhilarating
playing of Montalban over the rock-solid backbone of The Southern Vultures (Marc Hayward –
rhythm guitar & backing vocals, Edoardo Mariotti – drums, Bruno Pint – bass).

The band headlined Giants of Rock, Skegness Butlins, Colne Blues Festival, and Nantwich Jazz Festival and European tours (Germany, Netherlands and France), and shared stage with Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake), Ricky Warwick (Black Star Riders, Thin Lizzy) Texas Band, Chris Farlowe, Dare, King King, and Ten Years After, among many others leading to co-headlining show with Samantha Fish, Texas and Koritni in UK and Europe.
