Singer-songwriter Sunny Ozell has announced the release of a new music video for All That I Am, one of the tracks from her forthcoming studio album Overnight Lows.

The video for All That I Am is tasteful, stripped back equestrian affair that provides the perfect visual space and platform for the groove-laden, soaring anthem of uplift.

Sunny describes the track as ‘a femme anthem’, that entwines unique and personal elements, showcasing her ability to inject her own life and story into her music, perfectly reflecting her penchant for clever and relatable songwriting.

This personal approach and ability for storytelling shines through the track, as it does across the whole album. Overnight Lows gleams with these engaging melodies and intelligent wordplays, performed with a sophisticated fluency in pop, jazz, soul and Americana dialects that makes it a delight to behold.

Players on the record include Jay Bellerose (Robert Plant, Alison Krauss), Tyler Chester (George Ezra), Andy Hess (The Black Crowes, David Byrne) and Rich Hinman (Sara Bareilles). The album was recorded at Village Studios in Los Angeles, a studio previously used by the likes of Bob Dylan, Tom Petty and many more.

This record was developed in a particularly busy period following Sunny’s last full release, Take It With Me, which saw Sunny tour across the UK regularly including prominent support slots for The Rails and Teddy Thompson amongst others. In recent years, Sunny has performed on Jools Holland’s BBC Radio 2 show, where she previewed Take It With Me to widespread acclaim. These appearances and performances have led to Sunny becoming a stalwart of the vibrant Roots and Americana music scene in Britain.

She also presented an Americana UK Award in 2018, before later that year hosting the awards nominations launch 2019 alongside Baylen Leonard. Sunny returned to the Americana Awards in 2020, performing live at the ceremony in January.

Earlier this year Sunny headlined and co-curated a stage at the Red Rooster Festival in Suffolk, in association with the Americana Music Association UK and PRS, with a line-up of female artists.

The music video for All That I Am is out now.

Overnight Lows is out 28th February.
