Following the tragic events at Route 91 Harvest Country music festival, Kevin has decided to donate the profits he makes from his upcoming show to the ‘Music City Cares’ fund, a charity which has been set up to aid the victims of the attack in Vegas.
“I’m so excited to have my own show in London’s West End! It’s another one off the bucket list, and caps off an incredible year so far.
There’s no escaping it’s been a very difficult time for Country music fans across the world following the tragic events in Vegas. I think for me, being a musician, performing at Country music festivals, and personally knowing some of the artists performing at Route 91, it hits a little closer to home.
It’s a very easy decision for me to try to help out, even from all the way over here in the UK, all those affected by what’s happened. The ‘Music City Cares’ fund has been set up to aid the victims and their families, and their work could not be any more valuable. As a UK Country artist, this is my way of reaching out to our family across the pond, and let them know they are not alone, and that we fully support them during this time of hurt.”
Join us for a special acoustic evening up close with UK Country Male Vocalist of the Year’ nominee Kevin McGuire. February saw the Scottish singer launch his debut EP, Foreign Country, which peaked at #2 on the UK iTunes chart.
Heavily influenced by the likes of US Country superstars Rascal Flatts, and current US chart-topper Sam Hunt, we are able to draw comparisons in the Scot’s real-life emotional storytelling. With support from BBC Radio 2 and Chris Country, he was hailed as one of the stand out acts at Nashville Meets London this summer.
Kevin strips down his full-band set for one evening only at London’s Arts Theatre, West End, to deliver a unique and personal acoustic performance not to be missed.
